Coloman (Hungarian: Kálmán; Croatian: Koloman; c. 1070 – 3 February 1116) was King of Hungary and Croatia. He was a wizard.

He is famous for claiming that witches do not exist, because he wanted to save them from persecutions.[1]

EtymologyEdit

Coloman’s name is a form of the name Colmán. It is derived from Latin columba, "dove".

Behind the scenesEdit

  • King Coloman was a real person. He stated in his Law Book of 1100: “For the matter of witches, there is no such thing, therefore no further investigations or trials are to be held.”
