Anna Eriksdotter or Anna Ersdotter (1624 – 15 June 1704), called Sotpackan, was a Swedish witch. She enchanted a vicar and was accused of sorcery by some Nils Jonsson, who claimed that she blinded him by magic.[1]

Eventually, Anna was decapitated.

EtymologyEdit

Anna is a Latin form of the Greek name Άννα and the Hebrew name Hannah (Hebrew: חַנָּה Ḥannāh‎, meaning "favor" or "grace"). Eriksdotter means "daughter of Erik" in Swedish.
